EFTEC Aftermarket provides the following certification options:

1.   Dinitrol Protocol Certification
2.   Dinitrol Blue
3.   Pilkington Green

Dinitrol Protocol Certification

The Protocol Certification is the simplest way to receive certification. EFTEC Aftermarket keeps updated comprehensive instructions on this website under installation instructions. At the end of these instructions on page 4 there is a place for the installer to sign his/her name certifying that he/she has in good faith read, understands and agrees to the product instructions. The installer then faxes a copy of page 4 to EFTEC Aftermarket with his/her signature. EFTEC Aftermarket will return a fax to the installer acknowledging that it was received. This returned fax will serve as the certificate. The certification is valid until the next revision of instructions is published. The most recent installation instructions can be found at www.eftecna.com. It will be necessary from time to time for the installer to look at the instructions published on the website to ensure that the revision date has not changed. If it has changed the installer would then need to read the instructions and fax a new signed copy.

Dinitrol Blue

The Dinitrol Blue Certificate is awarded to individuals who have completed a 40 question exam and missed no more than 5 questions. An EFTEC Aftermarket employee must administer the exam. The study material includes but is not limited to: all Dinitrol urethane product technical data sheets, the comprehensive set of instructions, all relevant Material Safety Data Sheets, applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and the latest version of the Auto Glass standards published by the American National Standards Institute. The certificate is valid for three years. Protocol Instruction certification is also required with any new revision of instructions. See paragraph under Protocol Instruction certification.

Pilkington Green

The Pilkington Green certificate is the same as the Dinitrol Blue except that it is administered by an EFTEC Aftermarket approved/certified Pilkington employee. The certificate is valid for three years. Protocol Instruction certification is also required with any new revision of product instructions. See paragraph under Protocol Instruction certification.
